eBanc Roshan Digital Account- Resident Pakistanis

Now introducing the Foreign Currency Roshan Digital Account for Resident Pakistanis with declared assets abroad.

Through this unique op​portunity, accountholders can now avail a host of facilities including the ability to invest in Naya Pakistan Certificates, the newly launched foreign currency-denominated debt securities of the Government of Pakistan offering attractive returns over different maturities.




       ·         This will be a Current Account.

       ·         Account to be opened by Resident Pakistanis only. 

       ·         Account can be opened jointly with another resident Pakistani.

       ·         Account available in USD only.

       ·         The account can be fed with remittances received from abroad through banking channels. Feeding from local sources is not allowed.

       ·         All banking services allowed through Digital Channels -Internet/Mobile banking available

       ·         Debit card available

       ·         Cheque book available

       ·         Account can be used to invest in foreign currency-denominated debt securities of the government of Pakistan, notably the USD​Naya Pakistan Certificates

       ·         Account can be used to invest in TDRs at HBL

       ·         Profit from the above investments and disinvestment proceeds can also be credited in the account.

       ·         Transfer and payment to any person within or outside Pakistan

       ·         Cash withdrawal in either foreign currency or equivalent Pak Rupees

       ·         Full repatriation of funds abroad anytime without any prior approval from SBP or the bank

How to Apply

The account can be opened by visiting any branch of HBL across Pakistan. The standard account opening process for resident Pakistanis to apply.

Documents Required

In addition to standard documents required for KYC/CDD, the latest tax return including wealth statement filed with the FBR duly showing declaration/ disclosure of assets held abroad will be required.
