Refinance and Credit Guarantee Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs in Underserved Areas

A loan facility, launched by SBP, that is targeted towards women in an effort to lend them financial support. Under the scheme,women entrepreneurs can seek financing facilities enabling them to setup a new business and/or expand their current one across Pakistan ​

Key Features

• Refinancing will be provided to women entrepreneurs of underserved areas at a mark-up rate of up to 5% per annum
• Financing of up to PKR 5 ​​million with a financing tenor of up to 5 years and a grace period of up to 6 months
• Risk coverage of 60% on the outstanding principal

Criteria

• Borrower or primary sponsor must be a Pakistani resident
• Borrower must meet the Bank’s as well as the applicable regulator’s policies
• Personal guarantee is required of the borrower herself

How to Apply

• Original CNIC along with a verified copy
• Copy of a recent utility bill

Prime minister’s kamyab jawan – youth entrepreneurship scheme

To provide self-employment opportunities and uplift the youth of the country, the Government of Pakistan has introduced a low cost financing scheme under the banner of Kamyab Jawan. The scheme offers subsidized loans to meet long-term and short-term financing needs.

Purpose of finance

Long-term /Working capital loan requirement including leasing/ financing of locally manufactured vehicles for commercial use (only one vehicle per borrower)

HBL SAAF Finance provides an opportunity to SMEs to avail financing for their business without the need of any collateral. SMEs can now avail financing up to PKR 10 Million at highly subsidized mark up rates of 9% per annum for their working capital requirements, capital expenditure or procurement of commercial vehicle.
