HBL BankingAlerts

HBL BankingAlerts allows you to stay updated on your account activity such as change in balance, new deposit confirmations, cheque’s status and also provides notifications when you use your HBL DebitCard.

This is a value added service which instantly provides updates of various account activities. Real-time alerts help identify any unauthorized transactions which are not carried out by you.


Get SMS alerts on following transactions:

  • Cash deposit.
  • Cash withdrawal through cheque or ATM.
  • Status of clearing cheque deposit (normal clearing/same day clearing/ intra-city/outport).​
  • If clearing cheque is returned.​
  • All ATM transactions (cash withdrawal, bill payment, funds transfer).​
  • Funds transfer (inward).​
  • Funds transfer (outward).​
  • Non-financial such as updation of account information

How to Apply?

  • New to bank customers can apply for HBL BankingAlerts, at the time of new account opening,  by selecting the appropriate SMS option available under the Electronic Services section on the AOF.  
  • Existing customers can fill the Additional Request Form (ARF) available at the customer's home branch.​

You can also call HBL Phone Banking to have the service activated from your registered mobile number. ​



With this service you will be able to get SMS alerts on your transactions, on your mobile number registered with HBL. 

For bank accounts, you will get alerts on 

  • ​Cash counter transactions (any amount deposit or withdrawal
  • Clearing cheques (inward clearing & outward return) 
  • DebitCard transactions (carried out at ATM) 
  • Funds transfers (to and from customers account –cash over counter​ and ATM)
