HBL official notice – Closing of the Belgian branch

We wish to inform you that the Belgian branch of Habib Bank has ceased its activities in Belgium.

In this context, the branch’s license was voluntarily withdrawn in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Law of 25 April 2014 on the legal status and supervision of credit institutions. The withdrawal was approved by the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) following completion of all required steps in close coordination with the supervisory authority.

This decision reflects our strategic focus on strengthening our core business activities and continuing to serve our clients through our international network. We remain fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of service and transparency.
