HOW TO APPLY

Individual to provide:

• Original CNIC along with a verified copy
• Proof of income
• Duly signed Cheque Book Requisition form for a 10-leaf Cheque Book
• Copy of a recent utility bill

Sole Proprietor to provide:

• Original CNIC along with a certified copy
• Request letter
• Copy of the NTN Certificate
• Duly signed Cheque Book Requisition form for a 10-leaf Cheque Bo​ok

CRITERIA

• The account holder must be Above 18
• Female (Female to be primary accountholder in case a male that is Father, Husband, Brother or Son etc. is the Joint Account Holder)
• Pakistan Nationals can be primary accountholder and Non-Resident Pakistanis Female can be a secondary account holder

Guiding Principle

The underlying structure of HBL Nisa Tawfir Plus Account is based on the Shari’ah principles of Mudaraba. Under this contract, depositors assume the role of Rab-ul-Maal and the bank assumes the role of Mudarib. Bank invests the funds in Shariah compliant avenues and the income of the earning Assets is shared between Rab-ul-Maal and Mudarib on the basis of pre-agreed Profit-Sharing Ratio (PSR) announced under Pool Management system, where in Rab-ul-Maal funds are pooled by Mudarib to the respective Mudarabah Pool. The profit is distributed among the depositors on the basis of pre-assigned weightages.​
